INTERVARSITY GAMES (IVG) 2010

More than Just a Game

A Brief History

Intervarsity Games started off as an initiative to improve the friendship bond between the member universities of Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) Malaysia. Various sports events were organized in the main campus of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in Bangi.

This year, we extend our invitations to all medical faculties nationwide, with the hope of spreading our hospitality, friendship and sportsmanship to a whole new level.

Date

The programme will be held at 13th November, 2010 (Saturday).

Venue

All events will be held in the main campus of UKM, Bangi.

Events

Five sports event and a friendly match are contended this year. They are:
·         Basketball
·         Volleyball
·         Futsal
·         Netball
·         Badminton
·         Tug-of-war

Transportation

Shuttle services between event venues will be provided on that day. Participants, however, are required to provide own transport to UKM main campus.

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided for those who wish to stay a day before the event (12th November, 2010 @ Friday). Accommodation is free of charge, but only available for the stated date. Universities participants are required to book with us prior.

Number of Participants

Universities are required to confirm with us their participation, number of participants, their details (i.e. name, event taking part in, etc.) and the need for accommodation as soon as possible. This is to allow the organizers of sufficient time to make respective preparations.

Enquiries, Feedback, Suggestions
